Nightingale

This collection is inspired by the epic story of Florence Nightingale. A selfless, purposeful lady, popularly known as Lady of the Lamp, who made nightly runs, tending to the wounded soldiers. In the story, she depicts the Nightingale bird as she expresses her romantic side. Set in the 1920’s, in her natural habitat of a dark English rose garden, rendered out sweet melodious songs to attract her suitors.

This is interpreted by our choice of fabric design which is a midnight rose garden and accented with vintage laces and trims borrowed from a ladies wardrobe the 20’s
