It was a Glam fashion day out with sparkling Champs and canapés when London fashion enthusiat converged for the exclusive viewing of Revamp latest preta porta collection Akwa’nma, in the beautiful and prestigious newly opened Bronte Restaurant in the heart of London city, trafalgar square…The ambience was top class, good music and positive energy.
Akwa’nma is an afrocentric collection for lovers of ethnic prints and bold colours. The idea behind the whole trunk show is to showcase the beauty of ethnic pieces worn together with English designs, thereby creating a balanced edge and unique combos that are easy to the eye. These pieces bring colour and razzmatazz to an otherwise Grey winter wardrobe.
The event started with meet and greet photo sessions with the style maven and designer Peaceful Owoghiri. Followed by introductions, story behind the Akwa’nma collection, interviews with style editors, Sales and feedbacks.
It was an impressive turnout of industry persons at the show, which took place during the London fashion week. …”We took advantage of the buzz and frenzy of the LFW to drive traffic and sales to the show”… The success of this event has given us the impetus to hold another trunk show in London next year.
